Focusing on key areas, the diversified conglomerate plans to expand the Thiruvananthapuram airport's capacity from 4.5 million to 12 million passengers annually, reflecting a significant Rs 5,500 crore outlay. Additionally, the establishment of a logistics and e-commerce hub in Kochi is on the cards, alongside an enhancement of cement manufacturing capabilities in the city.
Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd, revealed these plans at the Invest Kerala Global Summit, attended by approximately 3,000 participants. The developments are part of ongoing investments, including Rs 5,000 crore input towards the Vizhinjam port, underscoring Adani's commitment to regional development.
