The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) announced a new loyalty points programme for commuters using the Namo Bharat app or the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) for ticket purchases. This initiative is designed to boost rider engagement and offer attractive travel incentives.

With every rupee spent on journeys through the NCMC or the Namo Bharat app, commuters earn one loyalty point, each valued at 10 paise. Accumulating a minimum of 300 points grants commuters a complimentary trip. Points are credited daily and users can check their points at various ticket facilities.

To make redemption smoother, NCRTC allows claiming up to five trips at once, valid for seven days. The Namo Bharat app provides a user-friendly experience, offering 500 bonus points for new users and additional points for successful referrals, fostering increased adoption of the platform.
