Mahindra Group Soars with $300 Million Aernnova Contract

Mahindra Group's arm, Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd, has secured a multi-year contract worth $300 million with Aernnova Aerospace to supply aircraft metal sub-assemblies and components. This marks a significant expansion in their collaboration, geared towards Airbus and Embraer models. The agreement enhances Indo-Spanish aerospace ties.

The Mahindra Group and Spain's Aernnova Aerospace have announced a substantial contract, estimated at around USD 300 million, for the manufacturing of metal sub-assemblies and components. The Indian company's subsidiary, Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd (MASPL), will cater to several Airbus and Embraer aircraft families.

This deal, spanning multiple years, will enable deliveries to Aernnova sites in Spain, the UK, Portugal, and Brazil, further building on a partnership that originated in 2013. Aernnova CEO Ricardo Chocarro expressed confidence in this collaboration to boost production across all factory programs.

Mahindra Group CEO Anish Shah emphasized the strategic significance of the aerospace sector in their operations, mentioning the potential to scale this partnership. MASPL CEO Arvind Mehra noted that this contract could lead to future opportunities in India, leveraging their existing ties and local capabilities.
