The meeting comes as Goyal prepares for a pivotal visit to Brussels aimed at energizing talks. This engagement follows the 14th round of dialog between the two parties held earlier this month.

India and the EU, which resumed talks in June 2022 after an eight-year hiatus, are striving to finalize the agreement by December. The potential deal covers a wide range of topics including trade, investment, and sustainable development.
