ACC Ltd, a prominent player in the cement industry, reported unprecedented growth with a more than five-fold increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) for the September quarter. The company announced a PAT of Rs 1,119.26 crore, a significant rise from Rs 199.7 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.

The company's consolidated revenue from operations for the September quarter surged to Rs 5,896.16 crore, compared to Rs 4,542.23 crore from the previous year, according to a regulatory filing. This increase in revenue underscores the company's successful sales strategies and market penetration.

ACC Ltd's expenditure for the reviewed quarter rose to Rs 5,393.42 crore from Rs 4,473.67 crore a year ago. Notably, revenue from cement and ancillary services reached Rs 5,519.18 crore, while the ready mix concrete segment climbed to Rs 453.62 crore from Rs 289.1 crore.
