Chaotic scenes erupted at the Jammu and Srinagar airports as IndiGo cancelled numerous flights amid ongoing operational disruptions. Passengers, caught off-guard by the sudden cancellations, protested vigorously, demanding answers from airline authorities.
The unrest was spurred by IndiGo's pilot-rostering woes, resulting in the cancellation of 16 flights at Srinagar and 11 at Jammu, leaving hundreds stranded and incensed. Complaints about poor communication and lack of assistance were rampant among the affected travellers.
To counterbalance the disruption, Northern Railways announced an additional coach for the Jammu-New Delhi route. Meanwhile, Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport also saw cancellations, further compounding the traveler's plight on a nationwide level.
