IndiGo has canceled nine flights at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport in Agartala on Sunday due to continuing operational disruptions, affecting numerous travelers.
While two IndiGo flights will proceed as scheduled, flights from other airlines like Akasa Air and Air India Express remain unaffected, said MBB Airport Director KM Nehra.
The cancellation has led to significant fare increases, with Agartala-Kolkata ticket prices tripling from Rs 3,200 to as high as Rs 13,000. Officials hint at future flight restorations while monitoring the nationwide issue closely.
