The accident took place at midnight on Saturday in the village of Mewadi when Adarsh Gupta, 17, and Alok Giri, 18, were on their way home from a birthday celebration. Police reports indicate that their motorcycle went out of control during an attempted overtaking, crashing into the rear of a truck and killing both friends instantly.
