A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday in Pratapgarh when a motorcyclist died after colliding with a stray cattle, officials reported.
The victim, identified as 35-year-old Rahul from Gauradand village, had been visiting a fair at Sangrampur. He was returning home via the Amethi-Kithawar road when the accident happened, according to local authorities.
As Rahul reached Muheebsah village, a stray animal suddenly appeared on the road, resulting in a fatal collision. Despite being rushed to the Sangrampur Community Health Centre, he was pronounced dead by medical staff. Legal procedures are currently being conducted following the event, noted Sangrampur SHO Akhilesh Singh.
