An incident at SAIL's Gua siding in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district saw a goods train derail on Tuesday, affecting freight train movements to the nearby iron ore mine.

The derailment involved one bogie at the loading and unloading site for iron ores. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Chakradharpur, Aditya Kumar Chaudhary, reported that SAIL managed the location where the incident occurred.

Despite the setback, there was no disruption to trains on the main railway route. The line was swiftly restored by SAIL and a railway technical team. SAIL operates four iron ore mines in West Singhbhum.
