Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to participate in a high-profile investors' meet in Kolkata, aiming to boost industrial growth by attracting notable investments to the state.
According to sources, Majhi and Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain will travel to Kolkata on Thursday, engaging in investment-focused activities throughout Friday and Saturday. The agenda includes a road show and personalized discussions with prospective investors.
The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) highlighted Odisha's burgeoning role as a tourism investment hub, with amendments to the state's tourism policy optimistically considered 'investor-friendly.' The previous investors' meet in Hyderabad garnered over Rs 67,000 crore in potential investments.
