Recharge Power Co., Ltd., an arm of J&V Energy Technology, has been chosen for the engineering, procurement, and construction of a significant solar-plus-storage project in Taiwan, boasting a capacity of 48MW/185.7MWh. This initiative is part of HEXA Renewables' strategic push for enhanced solar-plus-storage systems, showcasing Recharge Power's robust capabilities in hybrid integration.

The project is slated to begin in the first half of the year, providing essential grid services like peak shaving and load shifting to stabilize renewable energy supply. The development is expected to result in substantial revenues during construction and, once completed, will rank among Taiwan's largest solar-plus-storage facilities, fortifying the grid's resilience and flexibility through advanced energy solutions.

Spencer Feng, CEO of Recharge Power, highlighted their expertise in system integration and project management, reflecting on their successful completion of Taiwan's first grid-connected solar-storage project. As a pioneer in energy solutions, Recharge Power continues to set benchmarks with projects like the Automatic Frequency Control and Taipower's grid-connected substation energy storage.

According to Kai Tan, Deputy General Manager of J&V Energy, this project cements the group's leadership in Taiwan's energy storage sector, paving the way for international expansion. Emphasizing technological integration, Tan noted the group's ambition to extend its storage expertise to overseas markets, crafting scalable models to support global energy transitions.
