In a tragic accident on the Gola-Lakhimpur National Highway, three members of a family were killed and another was injured after their vehicle was struck by an unidentified car. The incident occurred on Thursday near Jalalpur village in the Gola Kotwali area, police reported.

The victims were identified as Sunil Singh, aged 28, his wife Sudha Singh, 26, and his brother-in-law Santosh Singh, 25, from Dharma Kunda village in Bahraich district. Sunil's other brother-in-law, Mukesh Singh, sustained injuries, according to law enforcement officials.

Authorities suggested that poor visibility caused by dense fog might have contributed to the accident. The family was traveling from Delhi to their village for a 'Tilak' ceremony. District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal expressed condolences and ensured that necessary support was provided to the injured.
