Hero MotoCorp is set to rev up its presence in under-represented sectors like scooters, premium bikes, and electric vehicles, as announced by CEO Harshvardhan Chitale. India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer also plans to broaden its foothold in international markets and the parts and accessories business.

During an analyst call, Chitale emphasized the untapped growth potential in these areas. Hero MotoCorp recorded a significant revenue of Rs 12,487 crore with a PAT of Rs 1,275 crore for the December quarter, and a 16% increase in sales to 16.97 lakh units, compared to the previous fiscal period. Chitale highlighted the vast scale of their vehicle park in India, identifying it as a major opportunity for advancement.

Chief Financial Officer Vivek Anand outlined the company's future priorities, which include bolstering growth ambitions, ensuring a resilient supply chain, and maintaining flexibility against ongoing industry disruptions. Looking forward, Hero MotoCorp is committed to continued investment in premium scooters and its electric vehicle portfolio, with expectations of sustained industry growth into the next fiscal year.
