Voltas reports over 22 pct decline in net profit during Q3

Tata Group firm Voltas Thursday reported a 22.26 per cent fall in consolidated net profit at Rs 78.08 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2018. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 100.44 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago.

Total income of the company stood at Rs 1,546.56 crore during the quarter, up 10.77 per cent as against Rs 1,396.13 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, Voltas said in a BSE filing. Shares of Voltas settled at Rs 513.45 per scrip on BSE, up 1.12 per cent from the previous close.
