Highlighting growing representation and success in entrepreneurship, he reaffirmed his commitment to women's empowerment in the state, noting accomplishments like surpassing the target of creating one lakh women-led enterprises.

At the International Women's Day event held in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu underscored the critical role of women entrepreneurs in bolstering economic empowerment. Addressing the gathering, he hailed women as a symbol of diligence and sacrifice, stressing society's progress hinges upon respecting and empowering women.
In his speech, Naidu pointed out the significant advancements of women in leadership roles across India, citing examples of a tribal woman serving as President and another as Finance Minister. He highlighted women's innate skills in financial management, likening them to household finance ministers orchestrating family budgets.
The Chief Minister further announced the state government's initiatives to foster women entrepreneurship, stating that the goal of creating one lakh female entrepreneurs had been exceeded with over 1.1 lakh women launching MSMEs. This development marks a significant step towards economic empowerment, further evidenced by the establishment of 34,000 women-led enterprises in urban regions.
