A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday night when a speeding truck rammed into a pick-up van on the southern bypass in the Kiravali area, authorities reported on Thursday.
The crash resulted in the deaths of two individuals, Harish (45) and Sahab Singh (50), with 24 others injured as they traveled to a wedding function in a Mahindra Max van.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Sonam Aditya, the van was turning onto a service road when struck by the truck. The driver of the truck remains at large, and police have seized the vehicle as investigations continue.
