In response to the ongoing LPG supply crisis in Delhi, senior police officials have been tasked with maintaining order and preventing black marketing. By deploying personnel and monitoring gas agencies, they aim to ensure a smooth distribution of cooking gas cylinders across the city, a senior officer confirmed on Thursday.

Restaurants and cafes heavily reliant on LPG for daily operations feel the pinch as supplies dwindle. Many have begun transitioning to alternatives like piped natural gas and induction cooking. Manpreet Singh from the National Restaurant Association of India acknowledged the shift as establishments cope with supply disruptions.

Amidst the supply crunch, reports of inflated pricing and shortages are rife. A vivid scene captures a young boy in Vikas Nagar, desperately searching for an affordable refill, underscoring the impact of this crisis on local communities. The police remain vigilant to thwart any illegal sales and protect residents from exploitation.
