In a tragic turn of events in Jharkhand's Chatra district, four teenage boys lost their lives in a harrowing head-on collision with a car. The accident occurred on the Piparwar-Tandwa Road in the Chiraiyatand area, police officials reported on Friday.

The victims, aged between 14 to 17, hailed from Baradih village. The car involved was reportedly coming from Bachra when the accident unfolded on Thursday night, according to Abhay Kumar, officer in charge of the Piparwar police station.

The heartbreaking incident saw three of the boys die instantly, while the fourth succumbed to his injuries en route to RIMS-Ranchi. In response, local residents blocked the road, demanding compensation for the grieving families.
