Tourist police stations to be set up in 3 Gujarat districts
In-charge Director General of Police of Gujarat Dr K L N Rao on Wednesday said that special police stations will be set up for the convenience of tourists in Gir Somnath, Devbhoomi Dwarka and Dang districts. To help tourists visiting Gujarat, three tourist police stations will be operationalized in Gir Somnath, Devbhoomi Dwarka, and Dang districts, he said.

In-charge Director General of Police of Gujarat Dr K L N Rao on Wednesday said that special police stations will be set up for the convenience of tourists in Gir Somnath, Devbhoomi Dwarka and Dang districts. He was speaking at a high-level meeting attended by the Inspector General of Police (Administration) and Superintendents of Police of these districts. ''To help tourists visiting Gujarat, three tourist police stations will be operationalized in Gir Somnath, Devbhoomi Dwarka, and Dang districts,'' he said. Help desks and a mobile application will also be launched. ''With the help of help desks and mobile applications, tourists can learn about important places to visit in the districts, and also find out how to seek help from the police, forest department, and railway department,'' said Rao.
