Eicher Motors Reports Steady Growth in April 2026 Sales

Eicher Motors Ltd announced a 6.9% increase in April 2026 sales, with VE Commercial Vehicles selling 7,318 units. This includes 7,159 Eicher and 159 Volvo units. Domestic sales grew by 8.6%, but exports of Eicher vehicles declined by 21.3%.

Eicher Motors Ltd has reported a notable 6.9% rise in its total sales for April 2026, compared to the same period last year. According to a regulatory filing, the company's arm, VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd, sold a total of 7,318 units, up from 6,846 units in April 2025.

The increase in sales was largely driven by the Eicher brand, which accounted for 7,159 of the total units sold. The Volvo brand contributed 159 units to the total. In terms of domestic commercial vehicle sales, Eicher-branded trucks and buses saw an 8.6% growth, selling 6,797 units in April 2026 compared to 6,257 units in the previous year.

However, the report highlighted a significant decline in the export segment for Eicher-branded trucks and buses, with a 21.3% drop, amounting to 362 units sold abroad compared to 460 units in April 2025.
