Ather Energy Accelerates Toward Profitability with Strong Growth
Ather Energy reported a 57% decline in net loss for Q4FY26 and a 74% increase in revenue. CEO Tarun Mehta highlighted the company's strategic growth through product expansion and distribution. The introduction of new models and expanded retail networks drove significant volume growth and enhanced financial performance.
Ather Energy has showcased a significant turnaround in its financial performance, as evidenced by a 57% reduction in net losses for the fourth quarter of FY26. This EV manufacturer, headquartered in Bengaluru, reported a net loss of Rs 100.23 crore compared to Rs 234.36 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
The company marked a robust growth trajectory with a 74% surge in revenue from operations, amounting to Rs 1,174.66 crore for the reporting quarter, a rise from Rs 676.8 crore in March 2025. Ather's co-founder and CEO, Tarun Mehta, emphasized the strategic changes that propelled this growth, including a focus on product-led demand and expanded distribution.
Ather Energy successfully delivered 83,418 vehicles in Q4FY26, bolstered by an expanded retail reach of 700 Experience Centres. The launch of the Rizta scooter model and investments in Factory 3.0 at AURIC are set to spearhead further growth, targeting the booming Indian E2W market with enhanced scale and efficiency.
