TVS ILP Expands Footprint with New Logistics Park in Siliguri

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) is set to develop a logistics park in Siliguri, West Bengal, enhancing regional logistics efficiency and supporting local businesses. This investment aligns with the company's strategy to expand across East India and contribute to the formalisation of the logistics sector.

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) announced on Wednesday its plan to develop a new logistics park in Siliguri, West Bengal, after securing a 10-acre plot. This strategic investment aims to boost logistics efficiency and support local businesses in the region known as the Gateway to the Northeast.

The Siliguri logistics park is poised to become a critical hub, offering robust multimodal connectivity and access to vital trade corridors including routes to Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. In line with TVS ILP's expansion strategy across East India, the project will contribute to the growth of organised, Grade A warehousing facilities.

As sectors like e-commerce, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals expand, the demand for advanced logistics solutions increases. This marks TVS ILP's second major investment in West Bengal, underscoring its commitment to enhancing the state's industrial ecosystem, comparable to similar agreements in Telangana and Karnataka.
