Pioneering Warehousing Pact: Welspun One Partners with Balmer Lawrie

Welspun One has marked a significant milestone by signing a Letter of Intent with Balmer Lawrie & Co to sublease prime warehousing space in Mumbai. This collaboration kicks off Balmer Lawrie's role as the first central public sector undertaking to team up with Welspun One.

Spanning 65,000 square feet at WTC Nhava Sheva within the JNPA SEZ, the warehousing facility positions itself as a pivotal player in SEZ warehousing and advanced logistics. This step enhances Balmer Lawrie's operational capacity, complementing its existing expertise in container freight station operations and international trade facilitation.

The project, expected to go live by early 2027, is set to offer state-of-the-art infrastructure, ensuring efficient regulatory processes and strategic proximity to critical trade gateways. With plans to revolutionize port-linked logistics, Welspun One's flagship Nhava Sheva project covers 55 acres and represents a significant investment in India's industrial landscape.
