Marching Toward Safety: Ahmedabad's Traffic Brigade Parade

A passing out parade for traffic brigade personnel was held in Ahmedabad, featuring 600 participants. In an unprecedented event, Ahmedabad hosted its first passing out parade solely dedicated to its traffic brigade personnel. Held on Friday, the ceremony marked a significant moment in the city's traffic management efforts.

Police Commissioner GS Malik presided over the event, observing 600 personnel—comprising 405 men and 195 women—take a solemn oath to assume their duties. The event is seen as a strategic move to build confidence and reinforce the commitment of the brigade members.

Commissioner Malik highlighted the vital role the Traffic Regulation Brigade (TRB) has played in curbing vehicle congestion issues in Ahmedabad. The parade concluded the trainees' month-long preparation, symbolizing a dedicated stride towards enhanced traffic control.
