A fire broke out in a 12-storey building in Jodhpur area of Ahmedabad on Saturday, prompting the evacuation of at least 20 residents, officials said, adding that nobody was injured.
''The blaze erupted in a flat on the third floor of Ratnakar-III building in the morning,'' said S B Jadeja, divisional fire officer of Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services.
An electrical fault is suspected to be the cause, he said, adding that ten fire tenders brought the blaze under control.
