Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Jeffrey Goettman will lead the bilateral talks in Mexico City, aiming to ensure the USMCA benefits American businesses, farmers, and service providers.

Meanwhile, Canada is notably absent from these discussions due to unresolved trade tensions, particularly concerning U.S. tariffs on Canadian vehicles, steel, and aluminum.
