Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the Farmers' Training Centre and Common Facility Centre for Agro Processing in Badepalli, Yadgir district, Karnataka. This new initiative, established with guidance from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and supported by the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS), aims to transform rural agriculture.

The centre is designed to enhance agricultural value chains and rural livelihoods in the Kalyana Karnataka region. Through modern infrastructure and skill development opportunities, the project offers farmers access to advanced training and value-added facilities, thereby supporting their agricultural activities and improving rural incomes.

Positioned as a catalytic project for rural advancement, the initiative provides a platform for knowledge sharing, skill enhancement, and improved agricultural practices. NABARD's involvement seeks to bolster the agricultural ecosystem with a focus on training, processing, and value-chain support, marking a significant step towards agricultural and rural development in Yadgir.
