Rapido, a prominent mobility platform, has partnered with the Indian government's Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to promote the RahVeer Scheme. The initiative focuses on raising road safety awareness across the nation by encouraging the public to offer timely assistance to road accident victims during the crucial 'golden hour'.

Addressing these concerns, Rapido Co-Founder Aravind Sanka highlighted the platform's responsibility due to its extensive user base, which encompasses millions of captains and serves over 30 million weekly users in more than 500 cities. Sanka emphasized that public hesitation to aid accident victims often stems from uncertainty about legal and personal repercussions.

Rapido is committed to breaking this cycle of hesitation by launching a digital pledge initiative aimed at its captains, motivating them to assist accident victims without fear of adverse consequences. This initiative has already garnered an extraordinary response, including notable achievements such as a Guinness World Record, reflecting a collective dedication to road safety.
