Cottonseed oil cake futures up on spot demand

Cottonseed oil cake prices rose by Rs 24.5 to Rs 2,815 per quintal in futures trade Tuesday, tracking an upbeat trend at physical markets on higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake contracts for July delivery were trading up by Rs 24.5, or 0.88 per cent, to Rs 2,815 per quintal with an open interest of 3,760 lots.

Similarly, August contracts also traded up by Rs 15, or 0.53 per cent, at Rs 2,840 per quintal.
