Government Medical Colleges in Kerala approved for upgradation under PMSSY

Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram under Phase-I at the cost of Rs. 120 crore (Central share: Rs. 100 crore; State share: Rs.20 crore).

Following 4 Government Medical Colleges in Kerala have been approved for upgradation under different phases of Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY):

Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram under Phase-I at the cost of Rs. 120 crore (Central share: Rs. 100 crore; State share: Rs.20 crore).

Govt. Medical College, Kozhikode under Phase-III at the cost of Rs. 195.93 crore (Central share: Rs. 120 crore; State share: Rs.75.93 crore).

T. D. Government Medical College, Alapuzzha under Phase-III at the cost of Rs. 173.18 crore (Central share: Rs. 120 crore; State share: Rs.53.18 crore).

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology under Phase-V(A) at the cost of Rs. 230 crore (MoHFW share: Rs. 120 crore; DST share: Rs.110 crore).

The Minister of State (Health and Family Welfare), Sh Ashwini Kumar Choubey stated this in a written reply in the Lok Sabha here today.
