Amazon workers protest: UK MPs support petition against poor working conditions

GMB Union is calling on Amazon to improve working conditions at there warehouses and is even willing to help them do so. The union has launched an online petition which has gathered almost 2,600 signatures and has also raised the issue of "ambulance call-outs" to warehouses possibly due to work pressure.

The petition has gained immense support from political leaders of the United Kingdom. Most of these leaders are from the Labour Party and have tweeted about the petition from there official Twitter handles.

The petition says that over 600 ambulances have been called to Amazon warehouses in the last 3 years. GMB Union also says that they want to help Amazon improve working conditions at their warehouses but the company is refusing to recognize or meet the union.

Amazon employees recently went on a strike on Germany, demanding better wages when the online retail giant launched its two-day global shopping discount extravaganza called Prime Day on July 15.
