Two school van drivers held for 'harassing' girl

Two van drivers, ferrying students of a private school, have been arrested in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district for allegedly harassing and sending obscene messages to a Class-7 girl, a police officer said on Saturday.
The girl's father lodged a complaint with the police, following which the two drivers were picked up from their homes on Friday, the officer said.
According to the complaint, one of the two drivers, who dropped the girl to school from home and brought her back, would make ''indecent gestures'' at her regularly.
He was later joined by a friend and another van driver, who also sent ''obscene messages'' to the girl.
The duo was produced before a local court, which sent them to jail.
A team of officers conducted raid in parts of the district on Friday and arrested the the van drivers from Harina Basti and Bada Pandeydih areas.
