Madhya Pradesh BJP President Advocates for New Sainik School in Khajuraho

Madhya Pradesh BJP president Vishnu Dutt Sharma has urged the Centre to establish a Sainik School in Khajuraho to benefit students aiming for careers in the armed forces. Sharma discussed this with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who has assured consideration of the proposal.

Madhya Pradesh BJP president Vishnu Dutt Sharma has made a formal appeal to the Centre for the establishment of a Sainik School in his Khajuraho constituency. The request aims to provide new opportunities for students aspiring to join the armed forces.

During a meeting with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi, Sharma emphasized the need for such an educational institution, which would complement the region's existing pilot training center.

Currently, Madhya Pradesh has just one Sainik School located in Rewa district. These schools play a critical role in preparing cadets for the National Defence Academy and other military academies, offering a CBSE-affiliated, English-medium education.
