Delhi's Mega PTM Bridges Gap Between Parents and Teachers

A mega Parents Teachers Meeting (PTM) was held across Delhi government and MCD schools on Saturday, according to an official statement.

Delhi Education Minister Atishi visited some schools in East of Kailash and Kalkaji, interacting with parents and students. She emphasized the importance of the PTM for enhancing children's learning and performance.

'The Mega PTM fosters collaboration between parents and teachers, helping devise better strategies for children's education. Our children will only progress when both teachers and parents pay attention to their studies,' Minister Atishi said.

She urged parents to spend at least half an hour with their children to understand their problems. Schools under the Kejriwal government have gained national recognition due to joint efforts by parents and teachers, and the aim now is to make MCD schools world-class, driven by CM Arvind Kejriwal's vision. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in the education revolution in MCD schools.

According to official data, Delhi has over 1,200 government and government-aided schools, and over 1,500 MCD schools.
