Sanjay Singh, an AAP MP, engaged with protesting UPSC aspirants in Rajinder Nagar on Thursday, pledging Rs 3 crore to establish a library in memory of three students who lost their lives in a flooded coaching center basement.
Singh revealed that both the Delhi government and MCD would provide Rs 10 lakh in compensation to each family affected by the tragedy. Additionally, he announced plans for a law to regulate coaching centers, incorporating suggestions from students.
Responding to students' demands, Singh emphasized a collaborative welfare fund for students, adequate law-making involving student inputs, and the release of CCTV footage related to the incident. He further shared intentions of pressing for jobs and additional compensation for the victims' families.
