Second Tragedy Strikes Telangana School: 12-Year-Old Dies of Ill Health

A 12-year-old student from a state-run residential high school in Jagtial district, Telangana, died of ill health 15 days after another student from the same school died of seizures. The boy complained of stomach pain and died while undergoing treatment. An investigation has been launched into his suspicious death.

Fifteen days after a student died at a state-run residential high school in Jagtial district, Telangana, another tragic incident has occurred. On Friday, a 12-year-old boy from the same school succumbed to ill health, police reported.

The boy, who was in class 6 at Peddapur Residential High School located in Metpally mandal, complained of severe stomach pain early in the morning. He was quickly transferred to a hospital for treatment but tragically passed away.

The police have handed over the boy's body to his parents post-mortem and registered a case of suspicious death following a complaint from the bereaved family. An investigation into the circumstances is currently underway. This sad event follows the death of a class 8 student from the same school, who passed away from seizures on July 26.
