AIIMS Bhubaneswar has secured the 15th spot in the 2024 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings, officials confirmed on Wednesday. This achievement signifies notable progress, considering the institution was ranked 26th in 2022.
The NIRF rankings, unveiled by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, have recognized AIIMS Bhubaneswar as the premier medical college in Odisha.
Led by executive director and CEO Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, the institution has made significant strides in infrastructure, education, treatment, and research, leading to this impressive ranking.
Dr. Biswas praised the faculty, staff, and students for their commitment, underscoring the institute's ongoing dedication to excellence in patient care, research, and medical education.
The NIRF ranking is evaluated on five parameters: Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Peer Perception (PP). AIIMS Bhubaneswar achieved a score of 62.97, reflecting its commitment to both academic and professional excellence.
