Supported by the Thakkar Family Foundation and the Government of Karnataka, the kitchen aims to adhere to a strict 4-hour cook-to-consumption timeline. This development underscores Akshaya Patra's vision for sustainable community engagement and innovation in public health nutrition.
The inauguration was graced by prominent figures including Shri NR Narayana Murthy and Shri Krishna Byre Gowda. The event highlighted the Foundation's dedication to nurturing young minds through balanced meals, aiming to serve over 2.2 million children across India. The facility features high-efficiency cooking technology and sustainability measures like solar energy and advanced water treatment.
