Arunachal Pradesh's Education Minister P D Sona has commended the Union education ministry's backing of vital educational infrastructure upgrades in the state. These improvements are being financed under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) schemes.

Addressing the eighth council meeting of the Arunachal Pradesh State Higher Education Council (APSHEC), Minister Sona emphasized the need for beneficiary institutions and government bodies to work collaboratively. Such teamwork is crucial to ensure the smooth and timely implementation of these educational projects.

Education Secretary Duly Kamduk and RUSA state nodal officer Minto Ete highlighted the council's role in facilitating these advancements. Minto Ete reported on the completion of existing projects and introduced new initiatives approved under PM-USHA. Additionally, insights from MLA Mutchu Mithi and Education Commissioner Amjad Tak highlighted strategies for advancing the state's higher and technical education sector.
