Odisha CM Unveils Rs 160 Crore Projects, Commits Expert Education Reform

On Sunday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched developmental projects valued at Rs 160 crore, focusing on education and infrastructure in Anandapur subdivision, Keonjhar district. Majhi, addressing students at Anandapur College, shared an emotional connection with his alma mater.
The CM inaugurated 16 projects worth Rs 42 crore and laid foundation stones for projects worth Rs 118 crore. Significant investments include Rs 7 crore for the college's infrastructure, Rs 2 crore for Anandapur hospital, and Rs 20 crore for the local stadium. He criticized the previous BJD government, citing political reasons for delays implementing the New Education Policy.
Highlighting education reforms, Majhi announced the introduction of the PM Usha Yojana to enhance higher education, aiming for transparency and employment-driven reforms in exams and studies. The government budgeted Rs 41,273 crore for education, with Rs 3,655 crore specifically for higher education.
