Tragedy Strikes IIT Bombay: Student's Sudden Demise
Rohit Sinha, a 22-year-old student at IIT Bombay, committed suicide by jumping from the hostel's 10th floor. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. An investigation is underway as police have filed an accidental death report. Sinha was a fourth-year Metallurgical Sciences student from Delhi.

In a tragic incident, Rohit Sinha, a 22-year-old student at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, allegedly ended his life by jumping off the hostel building early on Saturday morning.
Sinha, who hailed from Delhi and was in his fourth year of Metallurgical Sciences, reportedly leaped from the 10th floor around 2:30 am. Emergency services rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead by doctors.
Authorities have registered an accidental death report and launched a probe to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, according to a police official.
