The Southern Zonal Finals of the 8th PSYCH-ED 2025 quiz, a prominent educational psychology competition, took place at Fortis Hospital in Bengaluru on Tuesday. The event, directed by Dr Samir Parikh of Fortis Healthcare, seeks to enhance mental health awareness among high school students.
This year's competition attracted 12,000 participants from 900 schools across 190 cities, confirming its expansive reach and influence. The quiz serves a dual purpose of education and entertainment, engaging young minds in psychological topics while promoting mental health knowledge.
In a keenly contested final, Deens Academy from Bengaluru, comprising Yashvi Kariwala, Daksh Dileep, and Anjali Abhishek, emerged victorious. They will represent the Southern region at the national finals in New Delhi. PSYCH-ED 2025 is backed by GD Goenka University and Rupa Publications, further extending its academic and literary prestige.
