The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has identified a sprawling 60-acre plot in Narela for an ambitious 'Educational City' project, officials reported on Tuesday.
This innovative venture is designed to host technical institutes, colleges, schools, and research centers, backed by state-of-the-art facilities. The DDA has invited private sector companies to develop detailed project reports outlining the scope and structure of this educational hub.
Announced by Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena in April, the project, estimated to cost Rs 500 crore, involves auctioning license rights for a duration of 55 years. The DDA plans to integrate cultural and community engagement spaces, adding depth to the holistic development of students, faculty, and visitors.
