Azim Premji University Expands Horizons with New Ranchi Campus
Azim Premji University is set to launch its third and largest campus in Ranchi over 150 acres. Starting July, it will offer master's and diploma programs focusing on social engagement and regional needs, aiming to enroll 150 students initially, with plans to expand to 6,500 annually.

Azim Premji University has announced the establishment of its third and largest campus located in Ranchi, spread over a massive 150 acres. The new campus, set to commence academic activities in July, marks a significant expansion into eastern India.
Initially, the campus will offer two master's degree programs in Applied Economics and Development, as well as three postgraduate diplomas in fields such as Local Development and Educational Assessment. Vice Chancellor Designate Zulfiquar Haider emphasizes the university's mission to cater to the social and development needs of the region.
The Ranchi campus will also feature state-of-the-art facilities and aims to engage meaningfully with local communities, including the Adivasi. With a capacity to host around 6,500 students across various programs upon complete construction, the campus will play a crucial role in regional educational development.
