The TERI School of Advanced Studies in New Delhi held its 18th Convocation Ceremony at the Stein Auditorium in the India Habitat Centre. Presided by Hon'ble Chancellor Dr Vibha Dhawan, the event celebrated the achievements of the graduating class and underscored the institution's commitment to sustainability education.
The ceremony featured honorary awards to Dr Pema Gyamtsho and Ms Supriya Sahu, who spoke on strengthening climate resilience and sustainable development. This year, 24 doctoral scholars and 383 master's students were conferred degrees in various disciplines spanning energy and environment, marking a significant stride towards responsible development.
As Vice Chancellor Prof Suman K Dhar acknowledged the perseverance of the graduates, the ceremony reaffirmed the University's dedication to research excellence and interdisciplinary learning. TERI SAS is committed to producing professionals well-equipped to address complex global challenges in sustainability.
