In a tragic turn of events, the Pang-Palliparamba Government Lower Primary School community in Kuruva was plunged into mourning following the death of some of its teachers and staff members in a road accident in neighboring Tamil Nadu.
The Parent-Teacher Association and local representatives gathered at the school premises to grieve and await further information about the tragedy that has shocked the Kuruva area. Reports indicate that the victims were part of a 16-member group on a recreational trip not organized by the school.
Authorities have yet to confirm the number of casualties, with conflicting statements about the death toll. Kerala Police are working closely with Tamil Nadu officials to ascertain the details of the accident. A team has been dispatched to Coimbatore to support ongoing investigations.
