Used to manage blood sugar levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes, Ozempic's active ingredient is semaglutide. This move aligns with Amazon's strategy to expand access to essential treatments efficiently.

Tanvi Patel, a vice president at Amazon, reiterated the company's commitment to providing reliable and convenient access to modern treatments. Amazon is planning to increase access to same-day delivery for Ozempic in 4,500 locations by the end of the year.
