Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has publicly condemned the BJP-led state government following the cancellation of the NEET (UG) examination, citing alleged widespread irregularities. Gehlot claims the government attempted suppressing information about a paper leak impacting students nationwide.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) canceled the exam, entrusting the CBI with an investigation. This action, Gehlot states, is a decisive step taken to safeguard the interests of students allegedly jeopardized by the leak, which involved a circulated guess paper with several matching questions to the exam.

Rajasthan Police's SOG, spearheaded by Additional Director General Vishal Bansal, is scrutinizing claims that a guess paper containing approximately 410 questions—120 of which allegedly appeared in the chemistry section of the exam—was shared among students well ahead of the scheduled test date, further complicating the situation for the BJP government.
