Rahul Gandhi raised concerns over the legitimacy of the contract as part of his demand for a thorough investigation into possible anomalies within the board's On-Screen Marking system.

Responding to the criticism, CBSE clarified that all steps, adhering to the General Financial Rules, were meticulously followed during the contract bidding process. Gandhi remains skeptical, citing Coempt Edutech's questionable history in Telangana, and urges further inquiry into the organization's alleged connections with the current Indian government.
